One of my earliest memories was of looking up at leaves against a sunlit sky. A green and brown and blue mosaic moving ever so slightly and creating a visual sound and air rhythm I could feel on my face.

I grew up in London, UK and have a background in art and design. After moving to Vancouver in 1987 I worked as a designer and raised two children. I was a palliative care volunteer for many years before gaining a Masters in Counselling Psychology.

Nowadays, I have a private practice and work as both an Associate Counsellor and the Executive Director at The Adler Centre, a non-profit counselling clinic serving the community of Vancouver’s lower mainland.

I am fortunate to be a part of a thriving community clinic and greatly value the respect and support we offer each other. The colleagual atmosphere and the opportunity to offer my creative ideas balances and benefits my counselling work and I feel privileged to be able to support gifted and caring interns.
Now, in my 60s, I find that I have arrived at a place of deep satisfaction and meaning.
